In the endosome, the acidic pH induces conformational changes in the glycoprotein trimer, which trigger fusion between virus and endosomal membrane. VSIV (strain Mudd-Summers) Glycoprotein G Protein (His & Myc) is expressed in E. coli expression system with N-10xHis and C-Myc tag.
