Inhibits viral transcription and stimulates replication. Plays a major role in early induction of TRAIL-mediated apoptosis in infected neurons. Rabies virus (RABV) (strain PM1503/AVO1) Matrix Protein (GST) is expressed in E. coli expression system with N-GST tag. The predicted molecular weight is 49.9 kDa and the accession number is P15200.
