6-Arm-PEG-FA (MW 2000)

6-Arm-PEG-FA (MW 2000) (6-Arm-PEG-Folate (MW 2000) ) is a PEG derivative modified with folic acid. Polyethylene glycol enhances solubility and stability, and reduces the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It also inhibits nonspecific binding of charged molecules to modified surfaces. Folic acid (-FA) binds with high affinity to folate receptors, making it useful for targeting cell membrane receptors in drug delivery.
