DBCO-PEG-Maleimide (MW 2000) (DBCO-PEG-Mal (MW 2000) ) is a PEG derivative composed of DBCO, PEG units, and Maleimide. The Maleimide moiety forms stable thioether bonds with thiol (-SH) groups. The DBCO group enables the compound to engage in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with azide-containing molecules.
