DBCO-PEG-Maleimide (MW 600) (DBCO-PEG-Mal (MW 600) ) is a PEG derivative composed of DBCO, polyethylene glycol (PEG) units, and Maleimide. The Maleimide moiety forms stable thioether bonds with thiol groups (-SH) . Additionally, the DBCO group in this compound enables strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with azide-containing molecules.
