Biotin-PEG-COOH (MW 22000) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG compound containing biotin and carboxylic acid functional groups. It allows biotin to bind with high specificity and affinity to avidin and streptavidin. In the presence of a coupling reagent, Biotin-PEG-COOH (MW 22000) can biotinylate antibodies, proteins, and other macromolecules containing primary amines.
