DSPE-PEG-CHO ammonium (MW 20000) is a linear heterobifunctional PEGylation reagent composed of DSPE phospholipid and an aldehyde group. The PEG linker exhibits excellent hydrophilicity and water solubility. Aldehyde polyethylene glycol (DSPE) is a commonly used reactive phospholipid for attaching antibodies, peptides, or other ligands to the surfaces of liposomes and other lipid-based PEG nanoparticles. DSPE-PEG-CHO ammonium (MW 20000) is suitable for drug delivery applications.
