DSPE-PEG-CHO ammonium (MW 10000) is a linear heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol reagent composed of DSPE phospholipids and an aldehyde group. The PEG linker is characterized by excellent hydrophilicity and water solubility. Aldehyde polyethylene glycol (DSPE) is commonly employed as a reactive phospholipid to attach antibodies, peptides, or other ligands to the surface of liposomes and lipid-polyethylene glycol nanoparticles. This compound is applicable in drug delivery.
