4-Arm PEG-SH (MW 10000) (4-Arm PEG-thiol (MW 10000) ) is a multi-arm PEG derivative, each of whose four arms ends with thiol groups. The reactive free thiol, SH or mercapto group, selectively reacts with maleimide and the surfaces of transition metals, including gold and silver.
