PLGA-PEG-PLGA (hydrogel) (LA:GA 7:1) (20% solution) is a biodegradable thermo-responsive hydrogel capable of undergoing phase transition at specific temperatures. It finds extensive use in drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, wound dressings, and biosensors. The gelation temperature varies with concentration, decreasing as concentration increases, ranging from 31-34°C at concentrations of 15-20 wt%.
