DSPE-PEG-DBCO, MW 2000, is a phospholipid PEG polymer that incorporates cyclooctyne. This polymer spontaneously self-assembles into micelles or lipid bilayers in aqueous solutions, making it suitable for nanoparticle or liposome preparation as drug carriers in targeted drug delivery systems. DBCO can react with azide molecules via copper-free click chemistry to form stable triazole bonds. Reagent-grade, for research use only.
