MPEG-amine (MW 3400) can be used to synthesize folate-conjugated polymeric micelles for encapsulating the anticancer drug 9-nitrocamptothecin . These folate-conjugated polymeric micelles serve as efficient carriers for poorly soluble anticancer drugs, allowing them to evade macrophages and target tumor cells through folate receptor (FR) -mediated endocytosis.
