Romiplostim is an Fc-peptide fusion antibody and thrombopoietin (TPO) agonist. It enhances platelet production by activating the TPO receptor, thereby stimulating JAK/STAT, MAPK pathways, and multiple anti-apoptotic pathways. It is indicated for the treatment of immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) .
