VIR-7229 is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the Receptor-Binding Domain (RBD) of the Spike glycoprotein. It exhibits antiviral activity by competing with ACE2 for binding and inducing the shedding of the S1 protein. VIR-7229 is applicable for research on SARS-CoV-2 infections. Recommended isotype control: Human IgG1 kappa, Isotype Control.
