Additionally, SMIP34 induces cell apoptosis (apoptosis) and causes cell cycle arrest in the S phase. It reduces the expression of PELP1 and exhibits anti-tumor activity. SMIP34 also has potential for research in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) .
