N3-L-Dap (Boc) -OH is a click chemistry reagent featuring an azide group. Click chemistry is a robust set of reactions known for excellent biocompatibility, rapidity, and high specificity in biological environments. This reagent can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules that contain an alkyne group. It is also capable of strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules possessing DBCO or BCN groups.
