AC-VEID-CHO is a peptide-derived cysteine aspartate-specific protease inhibitor that targets Caspase-6, Casapase-3, and Caspase-7 with IC50 values of 16.2 nM, 13.6 nM, and 162.1 nM, respectively. This compound also inhibits VEIDase activity, showing an IC50 value of 0.49 μM. AC-VEID-CHO is utilized in research concerning neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease.
