Monoamine Oxidase B Inhibitor 4 (compound 1l), with a potent IC50 value of 8.3 nM, is a selective human monoamine oxidase-B (hMAO-B) inhibitor. This compound demonstrates anti-neuroinflammatory properties and exhibits low neurotoxicity. It effectively inhibits the release of NO, TNF-α, and IL-1β induced by LPS and Aβ1-42, and additionally mitigates the cytotoxic effects triggered by Aβ (1-42) .
