Poacic Acid is a plant-derived stilbenoid exhibiting antifungal activity by localizing to the yeast cell wall and disrupting the production and assembly of ?-1,3-glucan in fungal cell walls. It shows fungicidal activity against Saccharomyces cerevisiae and plasma membrane-compromised Candida albicans mutants [1].
