Olezarsen sodium, an N-acetyl-galactosamine-conjugated antisense oligonucleotide, targets hepatic APOC3 mRNA to suppress the production of apolipoprotein C-III (apoC-III) . This action helps reduce triglyceride levels in patients at high risk for or with established cardiovascular disease.
