It removes amyloid deposits by specifically binding to amyloid fibrils and triggering phagocytosis by macrophages and neutrophils.Anselamimab was used as an APP (?-amyloid A4 Protein Precursor) inhibitor in the clinical phase for the treatment of light chain (AL) amyloidosis.
