Spexin-2 (53-70), human, mouse, rat (NPQ 53-70), is a biologically active, non-amidated peptide derived from the prohormone proNPQ, conserved across mammalian species. It centrally modulates cardiovascular and renal function, with observed effects in rats including decreased heart rate and increased urine flow rate.
