ZIKV-IN-6 (compound 22) is a direct inhibitor of the Zika virus (ZIKV) that binds to its RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), obstructing viral RNA synthesis mediated by the ZIKV NS5 protein. The compound exhibits low cytotoxicity (CC50 >50 ?M) and mitigates excessive inflammatory response and pyroptosis [1].
