EthD-III

EthD-III, a nucleic acid probe, is a red fluorescent stain utilized for identifying dead cells. This compound penetrates cells with compromised membranes to bind to nucleic acids, thereby emitting bright red fluorescence specifically in dead cells (Ex/Em=530/645 nm) [1] [2].
