TP-050 is a potent, selective NMDAR agonist that is orally active, showing EC50 values of 0.51 μM for GluN2A and 9.6 μM for GluN2D. This compound can cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB), enhancing hippocampal long-term (LTP) potentiation and neuronal signal transmission.
