Norfenefrine HCl is an α1-adrenergic receptor agonist, an endogenous neurotransmitter and sympathomimetic drug for the treatment of hypotension, causing smooth muscle contraction and vasoconstriction leading to an increase in blood pressure, and also the ability to increase glycerol levels in adipose tissue.
