UA8967

UA8967 is a membrane-active anti-tumor agent. Cytotoxicity studies in six pancreatic cancer cell lines, one normal human pancreatic ductal epithelial line and two colon cancer cells showed the IC50s UA8967 ranged from 12–61 ?M for exposure times of 72 h. There was also no selective inhibition of DNA, RNA or protein synthesis after exposure to UA8967. UA8967 is observed to affect the plasma membrane.
