Bioactivity

Cyclobutrifluram is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) with an average EC50 of 0.025 ?g/mL against F. fujikuroi. It demonstrates excellent antifungal activity, significantly hindering the growth of sensitive F. fujikuroi mycelia. However, it may induce resistance, particularly in cases of amino acid substitutions in FfSdhB (H248L/Y) and FfSdhC2 (G80R or A83V) . Cyclobutrifluram is applicable for research on rice bakanae disease (RBD) .
