Y2641, a tetrahydro ?-carboline derivative, is an orally active dual inhibitor of RANKL and TNF-?, with Kd values of 3.984 ?M and 18.59 ?M respectively. It suppresses RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis and exhibits anti-inflammatory and cartilage-protective properties. Y2641 is applicable in osteoarthritis research.
