Cy3-PEG2-Azide is a derivative of Cyanine 3 (Cy3) dye containing two PEG units. This compound features an Azide group that allows it to undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, it can participate in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules that have either DBCO or BCN groups.
