BDP 581/591 DBCO is a boron-dipyrromethene dye with a conjugated alkene system (Ex=585 nm, Em=594 nm) . It serves as a standard fluorophore and can also be utilized for the detection of reactive oxygen species (ROS), as its fluorescence shifts to the green spectrum upon oxidation.
