LYS228 (also known as Ancremonam) is a potent antibiotic effective against carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae bacteria (MIC90 = 2 uM/mL) . It demonstrates strong antibacterial activity against CRE isolates even in the presence of all classes of β-lactamases.
