Inh2-B1 is an inhibitor targeting STK1 (Ser/Thr protein kinase) by directly binding to its ATP-binding catalytic domain. STK1 is a crucial component in the cell wall biosynthesis of Staphylococcus aureus and a key factor in MRSA resistance. Consequently, Inh2-B1 is regarded as an "antibiotic resistance breaker" with the ability to prevent biofilm formation.
