This process triggers myeloid differentiation in acute myeloid leukemia cells (AML) and leukemia stem cells (LSC) . Differentiation in AML and LSC cells is characterized by increased expression of myeloperoxidase, CD15, CD11b, and CD14, along with the activation of p38 MAPK. 10-Methoxy-canthin-6-one is utilized in the study of leukemia.
