Furthermore, INI-4001 stimulates the production of high-affinity, fentanyl-specific antibodies, effectively preventing fentanyl from crossing the human blood-brain barrier. It serves as an effective adjuvant in anti-fentanyl vaccines for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) .
