Recombinant human GADD45 beta protein
GADD45B is a member of GADD45 family (GADD45alpha, beta, and gamma) that are nuclear proteins to interact with various proteins implicated in stress responses and cell-cycle-related proteins. The function of GADD45 proteins is involved in growth-regulatory mechanisms and apoptosis. GADD45B is necessary for adult neurogenesis, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor and fibroblast growth factor. And therefore, this protein is implicated in affecting synaptic plasticity. Recombinant GADD45B protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
