Recombinant human Fc gamma RIIB/CD32b protein

Fc gamma RIIB/CD32b, also known as FCGR2B, belongs to the Ig superfamily. It is a low-affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma that are complexed or aggregated. It participates in various effector and regulatory functions, such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B cells. Fc gamma RIIB/CD32b is expressed on B cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, mast cells, and basophils. When Fc gamma RIIB is ligated, it inhibits B cell expansion, plasma cell differentiation, production of autoimmune rheumatoid factors, and down-regulates TLR4 with reduced LPS responsiveness. Recombinant human Fc gamma RIIB/CD32b, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in HEK293 cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
