Recombinant human CENPM protein
CENPM, also known as Centromere protein M is involved in centromere assembly and immune response. This protein is an inner protein of the kinetochore, the multi-protein complex that binds spindle microtubules to regulate chromosome segregation during cell division. It was originally identified as a gene highly expressed in b-catenin transformed mouse mammary tissue. CENPM protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
