Recombinant Human IFN-alpha/beta R2/IFNAR2 protein
IFN-alpha/beta R2, also known as IFNAR2, is a member of the class II cytokine receptor family. This protein is the principal ligand binding subunit of the receptor. Ligand bindnig is stabilized by the subsequent association with IFNAR1 and forms the signaling compelx recptor. It also plays the role in STAT1, STAT2, and STAT3 activation. Recombinant human IFN-alpha/beta R2, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
