Recombinant human FGF receptor 1/FGFR1 protein
FGFR1, also known as fibroblast growth factor receptor 1, is a receptor tyrosine kinase whose ligands are specific members of the fibroblast growth factor family. It is involved in a multitude of physiological and pathological cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, angiogenesis, wound healing and tumorgenesis. The biological activities of the FGFs are mediated by a family of type I transmembrane tyrosine kinases which undergo dimerization and auto-phosphorylation after ligand binding. Recombinant human FGFR1 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
