Recombinant human IL-17R alpha/IL17RA protein
IL17RA, also known as interleukin-17 receptor A isoform 1, is a cytokine receptor which binds interleukin 17. It is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. It is a type1 membrane glycoprotein that binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. This protein and Interleukin 17A play a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Recombinant human IL17RA, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
