Recombinant human PD-1 protein
PDCD1, also known as programmed cell death protein 1, is a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein, and is an immune-receptor belonging to the CD28/CTLA4 family. This protein is expressed on the surface of activated T-cell, B-cell, macrophages, myeloid cells and subset of thymocytes. Also, it inhibits the T-cell proliferation and production of related cytokines including IL-1, IL-4 and IL-10. As a cell surface molecule, it regulates the adaptive immune response. Recombinant human PDCD1, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
