Recombinant human GDNFR alpha-3/GFRA3 protein
GFRA3, also known as GDNF family receptor alpha-3, is a plasma membrane glycoprotein. This protein is one of the four GDNF receptors, all of which are glycosylphosphoinositol (GPI) -linked, contain three conserved cysteine repeats, and involved survival of neurons. Also, it promotes the formation of a physical complex between GFRA/GDNFRa and the orphan tyrosin kinase receptor Ret, thereby inducing its tyrosine phosphorylation. Recombinant human GFRA3, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
