It is induced during adipocyte differentiation, and its secretion is stimultated by insulin. This protein influences gonadotropin release, normal pregnancy, and assisted reproduction outcomes. Also, it is important factor in chronic liver diseases and chronic kidney diseases. Recombinant human ADIPOQ, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
