Recombinant human TIM-3/HAVCR2 protein
HAVCR2, also known as hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, is a transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of terminally differentiated Th1 cells but not on Th2 cells. It was the first surface molecule that specificallyidentifies Th1 cells in both mice and human. It interactions with Galectin-9 can alternatively trigger immune stimulatory effects, such as the coactivation of NK cell cytotoxicity. Recombinant human HAVCR2, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
