Recombinant human AMIGO2 protein
AMIGO2, also known amphoterin-induced protein 2, is a leucine-rich repeat family member. This protein may mediate homophilic as well as heterophilic cell-cell interaction with AMIGO1 or AMIGO3. Also, AMIGO2 contributes to signal transduction through its intracellular domain and be required for tumorigenesis of a subset of gastric adenocarcinomas. Recombinant human AMIGO2, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
