Recombinant rat IL-1 alpha/IL1A protein
IL1A also known as interleukin-1 alpha. IL1A belongs to the interleukin 1 cytokine family. IL1A is part of Interleukin-1. IL1 stimulates thymocyte proliferation by inducing IL2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, and fibroblast growth factor activity. IL1 proteins are involved in the inflammatory response, especially IL1A is an early and important mediator of inflammation after injury. Recombinant rat IL1A, fused to His-tag at N-terminus was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
