Recombinant mouse TIE2/TEK protein
TEK, also known as angiopoietin-1 receptor isoform 2, is cell-surface receptor for ANGPT1, ANGPT2 and ANGPT4. It regulates angiogenesis, endothelial cell survival, proliferation, migration, adhesion and cell spreading, reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. This protein effects by preventing the leakage of proinflammatory plasma proteins and leukocytes from blood vessels. Recombinant mouse TEK, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
