Recombinant human ZAG protein
AZGP1 also known as Zinc-alpha-2-glycoprotein. The protein stimulates lipid degradation in adipocytes and causes the extensive fat losses associated with some advanced cancers. It may bind polyunsaturated fatty acids. Recombinant human AZGP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.
