Recombinant human NUBP2 protein
NuBP2 is an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and metal-binding protein that is required for the assembly of cyotosolic iron-sulfur proteins. This protein functions in a heterotetramer with nucleotide-binding protein 1 (NuBP1) . Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Recombinant human NuBP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
